Growing from the Optik 3 the new Optik 4 from Brian's is built for that goalie looking for maximum coverage down in the butterfly thanks to it's minimal outside roll. The stock option is their MAX Core and Bri-Core construction. They have also gone with a different graphic from the 3 to give you even more options on the custom level with this graphic.

CONSTRUCTION

The pad features Bri-Core which is new to this family, this is an added section of carbon fibre reinforcement at the thigh of the pad to give better stiffness so the pad holds up longer for you during the season. The Optik 4 is available in three flex option, MAX, FLY & FLX, the stock option is MAX which is a stiffer core above the knee with a softer boot and it has more of an angle at the top of the thigh. The FLY is close to what the MAX is but a more straighter design for the pads construction and FLX is a more flexible pad with it's construction.

STRAPPING 

The pad uses it's smart strap system with an adjustable strap at the calf to hold you in place and a re-designed upper calf strap with elastic to fit a wider range of goalies. 

TOE TAPER

For our Optik 4 Pad we have gone with the 90 degree for a more squared off shape to help seal everything up on the ice while going down in the butterfly.
